About 31strait

We launched 31strait (pronounced three-one strait) after successfully completing an AI transformation in another business we own and operate. And, after watching customers of that business attempt their own AI adoption. These experiences taught us what works, and where the pitfalls are. The opportunities to help became clear.

An AI transformation is as much a cultural and psychological shift as it is a technical one. Every business, and every individual within it, moves through that transition at a different pace. Our graduate-level education in leading organizational change, Federal training in managing difficult workplace dynamics, and thirty years of experience with real-world business transformation position us to guide customers through each stage of AI adoption.

31strait Story

31st Street is a fictional place in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida where our first two kids spent most of their childhood. We often hosted impromptu pool parties with the neighborhood kids and parents. Later in the night, we'd load many more than six kids and adults on a six seater golf cart to ride around the island. When the kids asked where we were going, we answered, "31st Street!" - knowing streets on the island only went to 30th.

In reality, we drove around the island and to the ice cream shop. 31st Street stuck though - anytime we hosted a party, the kids demanded we take them to 31st Street and while riding the cart they'd scream "31st Strait!" with their fists pumping.

It was a memorable time we want to celebrate and solidify in history by naming our AI business - 31strait.
